Home Field Spaniel Dogs Davigdor

In 1993 Ann and David bought a Pointer, Woodglade Dance in Time (Oliver) from
Jock and Maureen Mackay. Oliver was a very exuberant puppy and somehow managed
to knock out one of his front teeth so had quite a short showing career. This was
a big disappointment as he had gone Best Minor Puppy Pointer at his first Championship Show.
Oliver lived with the rest of the Ewtors to the ripe old age of 15 and it was not until
August 2007 when a family friend, David Tobin, asked for Alastair’s help in
exhibiting his dogs, that Pointers came back into our lives.

At first Alastair handled two of David’s Irish Setters in addition to two of his Pointers,
Davigdor Whistful (Tara) and Davigdor Patience (Molly).
Then when Davigdor Tiara (Truly) came along she was jointly owned.

In 2009 Alastair went into partnership with David
with all of the Pointers and they moved in with the Ewtors. From his initial involvement
with the Davigdor Pointers Alastair handled Molly to 1CC (with Best of Breed) and 3 RCCs.

Now all of the pointers are jointly owned by both David Tobin and Alastair
and Alastair is proud to have an interest in the Davigdor affix.

Michael after winning Junior Dog
at WELKS Championship Show 2013

The first litter produced by the partnership came from a mating of Tara to
ShCh Joneva Diamond In The Rough JW. Alastair considers himself extremely lucky to
have produced Davigdor Rough and Tumble (Michael) from this mating. Michael gained
his Junior Warrant at the age of 14 months and has been consistently in the prizes at
Championship Shows, which include winning the Pet Plan Puppy Stakes
at Southern Counties Championship Show and 2RCC's.

Since then the partnership has produced Davigdor Diamond Lil (Lil) who has had
multiple wins at both Open and Championship shows and
Davigdor Reference Point (Daniel) who has been shown as much but has been regularly in the
prizes including winning 1st in Yearling dog ar Crufts 2016
